This air ambulance transport scenario Includes 3 trainees that have burns on them from an explosion. inside a C17 medical air transport aircraft we have the medics caring for the patients. It's a scenario that could happen wherever in the Pacific Sea, which is why this team is here to train. This team is part of JMAT which means Joint medical air transport team. Today there not putting much focus so much on medical training, but rather of caring for patients in an environment like this as aircraft engines blare noisily while at work. The trainees learn the valuable skills of medical air ambulance flight practice. This real life practice gives the trainees a more hands on grab of the real life sceario there can also be multiple limitations on the patients, they can be found when they are on the ground, Many possible things can go wrong while in flight.

The mac patients are given the oppurintty to be practice on by the students, during the C17 medical air transport flight. As one student stats. "Feeling the movement & the sways while being on board gets me ready. I was surprised on how similar it was to a real world scenario and how hard it was to talk to your team members in a loud environment. Be open to anything and play trial and error as you go. This way is a perfect way to train for a real life scenario".

This sort of training is a lot more crutial for the pacific. These doctors may fly off to far away secluded areas in the world & deal with a heavy range of injuries. Many times we'll have issues such as a tsunami or a hurricane that will affect those patients and they can bring care on board the air ambulance. The training truly is joint bringing together students from the navy, air force and army. Also bringing in more students from other countries like Australia and Thailand.
