Underwear has been in use since yesteryears. Although it may not be so with the cavemen, underwear would have certainly established its place in history with civilization. The most classic type of underwear for men has always been the briefs. These were simple and comfortable which facilitates movement and style. Others can try more daring and sensual designs like sheer or see-through briefs. Some might prefer some cutout designs that offer exposure on some sensual body assets that others might find intriguing.

Any men’s underwear must be of a good type of material that will provide the comfort to the wearer no matter how fashionable the style may be. The traditional choice of materials for men’s underwear is cotton which allows the skin to breathe and to remain fresh. However, times are changing where many males want different types of material for a different purpose like the Spandex with a metallic luster. Manufacturers are more likely to prefer this type of highly elastic material that allows flexibility of movement to the wearer as well as catering to a wider group of wearers.

Lycra is also a form of spandex that is growing common in men’s underwear while nylon and rayon are still popular for their reflective and lustrous finishes. Many underwear manufacturers are combining these preferred materials together in various percentages to give the perfect fit to the wearers. This is because every type of material has its own strength and each type is selected to provide its strength in the piece of manufactured underwear.
